Clean Eating…sigh!

You know, it’s a lot harder than instagram and all these beautiful people on Facebook really makes it out to be. Seriously, all these beautifully displayed dishes with bright colors and everyone smiling! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve posted some of those pictures too…but come one. Let’s all give each other a break and be real! Clean eating is difficult. If you travel or do anything outside of the home with your kids, sometimes you just need to eat….sometimes you just need to survive the toddler storm of “I’m HANGRY mama”. Some mamas might think I’m being a pessimist, but I’m not. I’m being real and sharing my journey! I am one of the most positive women you will ever meet. I  just don’t want us to set false expectations so that when it does get hard you don’t get mad at me and quit on your journey.

Today I just want to remind you that it is hard and our fast food bread eating society doesn’t exactly help. But hard doesn’t mean it’s not possible! Hard means you are going to experience growth and learning. We can learn together and grow from the failures. Clean eating is worth it, it does make a difference in your health and energy. Give yourself to make that change and create a new habit! Give yourself a break when you make a mistake. No more punishments. Just growing!

The last 3 months I have been battling depression trying to creep into my brain, balancing my T3 thyroid issues, weight gain, blah, blah, blah. I did my best to eat clean and be active but it wasn’t my best if I am being fully honest! I worked out, yes! I drank my Shakeology, yes! I just need to go all in and do it right!

So on that note, I’m going to share my journey of really changing bad habits into good ones, from clean eating…healthy rest…exercise and mindset! I’m going to be real, I’m going to grow with you!

Clean eating is easy to do but it is easy not to do. That is what makes it a challenge. Let’s do this!
