Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of clove
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 slices of fresh ginger
  • pinch of fresh ground black pepper*
  • 1 tsp turmeric (Start with a teaspoon and go up from there)
  • 6 cups of water
  • Raw honey to sweeten
  • Milk sub of choice (I am an almond milk fan but the others amazing too)

Where the magic happens

  1. Simmer herbs and water together for 10 mins.
  2. Strain out and add honey and milk.
  3. Sip and enjoy
  4. Store extra tea in the fridge for the next day

*black pepper aids in the absorption of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric. Helpful but not absolutely necessary for tea benefits

**A word of caution: Tumeric’s dying qualities are quite high so be mindful of when you brush your teeth.
