Ingredients

- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of clove
- pinch of nutmeg
- 2 slices of fresh ginger
- pinch of fresh ground black pepper*
- 1 tsp turmeric (Start with a teaspoon and go up from there)
- 6 cups of water
- Raw honey to sweeten
- Milk sub of choice (I am an almond milk fan but the others amazing too)
Where the magic happens

- Simmer herbs and water together for 10 mins.
- Strain out and add honey and milk.
- Sip and enjoy
- Store extra tea in the fridge for the next day

*black pepper aids in the absorption of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric. Helpful but not absolutely necessary for tea benefits
**A word of caution: Tumeric’s dying qualities are quite high so be mindful of when you brush your teeth.
